The Cylinder Head Gasket Sets are important components of the engine combustion chamber. They are mounted between the engine block and cylinder heads. The function of a cylinder head gasket is to prevent the coolant or engine oil from entering the cylinders, while ensuring maximum compression. In newer vehicles, the engine blocks and cylinder heads are constructed using iron and aluminum, respectively. Since these metals expand and contract at different rates, an uneven stress occurs. The cylinder head gasket allows the two metals to move such that the friction caused by the movement does not damage the gasket.
